Here Comes the Boom

Here Comes the Boom is a stage in The Masked Carnivale for Blue Mage, introduced in patch 4.5 with Stormblood.

Endurance: Average
Strengths:
Weaknesses:
Resistances: Slow, Petrification, Paralysis, Silence, Blind, Stun, Sleep, Bind, Heavy

You'll need to one-shot each of the sleeping bombs. Each one has about 780HP.

Use Bristle and any spell with 200+ potency on each bomb.

Alternately, attack with 1000 Needles on each bomb.

Kill the Arena Grenade adds spawned by Forefather before they explode. If you use 1000 Needles, make sure you don't hit the Forefather.

When Forefather casts Sap, stand in the center to avoid the aoe.

After two Sap casts, he will cast Burst which will cause wipe.

Get Forefather down to under 50% HP then use Off-guard, Moon Flute, Whistle, and Final Sting to finish him off before he casts Burst.
