Papa Mia is a stage in The Masked Carnivale for Blue Mage, introduced in patch 5.15 with Shadowbringers.
Act 1
Enemies
Arena Mirrorknight
- Endurance: Average
- Strengths:
- Weaknesses:
- Resistances: Silence
Strategy
- Toad Oil and Aetherial Mimicry:DPS are recommended.
- Use Eerie Soundwave to remove the buff from Alternate Plumage.
- Use Flying Sardine to interrupt his Caber Toss.
- Keep Song of Torment up for additional DPS.
This should be a quick fight.
Act 2
Enemies
Papa Humbaba
Strategy
- Toad Oil and Aetherial Mimicry:DPS are recommended.
- He's weak to earth, so Plaincracker, Mountain Buster, and Surpanakha will be your primary DPS skills.
- Eerie Soundwave can be used to remove his Critical Strikes buff (applied when he casts Raw Instinct).
- He will cast Void Thunder II and summon a thunderhead, which will periodically use Lightning Bolt in the area around it. Be sure to move well out of range of the thunderhead's Lightning Bolt, or each hit will take about 1/2 your health.
- When you see a red marker over your head, it's a knockback. Position yourself so that you don't get pushed into the electricity or negate the knockback with Surecast.
- The thunderheads will periodically move to your position. Keep your eye on them and keep out from underneath them.
- Void Thunder III is an arena wide AoE that will apply a nasty lightning dot on you. Bring Exuviation to cleanse the dot. You can try to heal through it, but it makes that part of the fight far more difficult.
