Gauss Barrel
“Equips your current firearm with a gauss barrel, increasing damage dealt by 5%. While barrel is equipped, your weapon's Heat Gauge will increase each time a weaponskill is executed. When the Heat Gauge reaches 100%, your weapon will become Overheated and damage dealt will be increased by 10%.
Duration: 10s
Gauss Barrel effect ends automatically once weapon is no longer Overheated and cannot be applied again for 10s.— In-game description
Gauss Barrel is an action unlocked at level 52. It is available for Machinist.

- Patch 4.2 (2018-01-30): Fixed an issue wherein battle log information and flying text for machinists using a Gauss Barrel would not be displayed under certain circumstances.
- Patch 4.06 (2017-08-07):
- Damage increase when overheated changed from 10% to 20%.
- Recast time reduced from 10 to 2 seconds.
- Patch 4.0 (2017-06-20):
- Damage increase has been lowered from 30% to 5%.
- No longer causes casting time on weaponskills.
- Enables the charging of Heat Gauge on execution of weaponskills.
