Walkthrough

One player reports having to kill 4 Diresaurs before the key item dropped.

Steps

• Speak with the Northern Scouting Party Dragoon.
• Obtain the expedition report from the diresaurs.
• Deliver the report to the dragoon.

Journal

• This dragoon is concerned about the scouting party at the battlefield to the north.

• The dragoon must wait at his station until the aetheric measurements are complete, so he asks you to check up on the scouting party sent north, who may be experiencing the same troubles as he is. Go north and speak to the scouting party dragoon to see if she is in need of an adventurer's strength.

• Although the dragoon was able to complete her aetheric measurements, she was attacked and her expedition report was stolen by one of the vicious diresaurs that wander the area. She is not entirely sure which of the brutes stole the report, so kill them until the kleptomaniac dragon gives it up.

• The first diresaur you slay fails to yield the report. Keep your weapon drawn and kill more dragons until the report presents itself.

• After practicing your combat moves on several more diresaurs, you finally find the errant report. Return it to the distressed dragoon so her work will not have gone to waste.

• You return the report to the troubled dragoon, and she is elated that she will be able to finish it at last. It is unclear what the dragon would have done with the information in the report, but surely it would have had dire consequences.

Southern Scouting Party Dragoon: I must wait until the aetherometers are done with their measurements. Do you think you could check on the scouting party at the other battlefield?
Southern Scouting Party Dragoon: They have been dispatched to the north, and no doubt they are facing the same troubles I have been. Pray help them if they require it.

Southern Scouting Party Dragoon: The other scouts are at the ruins to the north. Pray lend your aid should they need it.

Speaking with the northern scouting party dragoon

Northern Scouting Party Dragoon: Ah! It's the adventurer! You've come just in time─I'm in dire need of help!
Northern Scouting Party Dragoon: I finished setting up my aetherometers, but on the way back to my post a diresaur attacked and stole my scouting report!
Northern Scouting Party Dragoon: I'm not sure which one made off with the report, but I don't think it could've gone far. I'll do what I can to help you find it.

Northern Scouting Party Dragoon: It was the diresaurs that hulk about that stole the expedition report, so keep killing them till you find it. I'll lend what aid I can, as well.
