Mage's Ballad is an action unlocked by questing at level 30. It is available for Bard.

•   Enhanced Empyreal Arrow (Lv. 68) - Guarantees the trigger of the additional effects for Mage's Ballad, Army's Paeon, and the Wanderer's Minuet when Empyreal Arrow hits a target.
•   Enhanced Army's Paeon (Lv. 78) - While under the effect of Army's Paeon with at least one stack of Repertoire, singing Mage's Ballad or the Wanderer's Minuet will grant Army's Muse, reducing weaponskill cast time and recast time, spell cast time and recast time, and auto-attack delay.

• Patch 7.0 (2024-07-02):
  • No longer requires an enemy target.
  • Range has been reduced from 25 to 0 yalms.
  • No longer deals unaspected damage with a potency of 100.
  • Repertoire effect has been changed from "Reduces the recast time of Bloodletter and Rain of Death by 7.5s" to "Reduces the recast time of Heartbreak Shot and Rain of Death by 7.5s."
  • Execution now requires the player to be in combat.
• Patch 6.4 (2023-05-23): Range of the additional effect granting Mage's Ballad to self and party members has been increased from 30 to 50 yalms.
• Patch 6.0 (2021-12-07):
  • Changed category from spell to ability.
  • Changed additional effect conditions from "40% chance to grant Repertoire when damage over time is dealt by Caustic Bite or Stormbite" to "80% chance to grant Repertoire".
  • Repertoire effect changed from "Resets the recast timer of Bloodletter and Rain of Death" to "Shortens the recast timer of Bloodletter and Rain of Death by 7.5 seconds".
