Mastercraft Tools are primary tools for level 50 Disciples of the Hand and Land that are obtained from level 50 Class Quests. These tools can be upgraded to Supra Tools and Lucis Tools. They aren't, strictly speaking, ERelic tools as they are all CBlue rarity, don't have customizable stats, and don't have any glowing effect for glamour purposes; but they are upgradeable in a relic-like manner and unlock an achievement at the end.

For players seeking to obtain multiple (or all) Lucis Tools, this requires obtaining each base tool from class quests, but only one crafter tool and one gatherer tool need to go through the upgrade process to Lucis Tools - this will then unlock all remaining Lucis Tools from the Calamity Salvager, where they can be bought for Gil.

For players that want the Supra Tools for glamour purposes, those are not buyable from the Calamity Salvager, even after obtaining a Lucis Tool. The only way to obtain a Supra Tool is by upgrading it from the base tool.

Acquisition:

• Talan in Mor Dhona (X:22 Y:6)
• Besides the items below, each upgraded tool requires the base tool from the level 50 class quest for specified Disciple of the Hand or Land and 1   Mastercraft Demimateria (costs  800).

Disciples of the Hand

• Each crafted item is a level 50 ★★★ craft that requires the class's Master I recipe tome to unlock.
• Once that is done, the recipes themselves call for 2   Fieldcraft Demimateria III (costs  200 each), as well as one material that can only be found through Unspoiled Nodes (with the exception of Leatherworker).
• While the intermediate materials can be obtained via the market board, the final crafts are untradable items, meaning the player must craft these items themselves.

• Each gatherer seal requires 2   Fieldcraft Demimateria III (costs  200 each), plus a certain gathered item. These gathered items are untradable and only obtained by gathering, meaning the player must gather the items themselves.
• Botanist/Miner need to collect 30 pieces of a level 50 ★★ item from Unspoiled Nodes.
• Fisher needs to fish a level 50 ★★★ fish that requires mooching and a specific weather condition.

• Each craft requires 3 of an item that costs  600 (or  50) each; 1 of an item that costs  1,500 (or  7 and "sworn" reputation with the Ixali Daily Quests); and 1 item that is either from Unspoiled Nodes or costs additional company seals.

Disciples of the Land

• This used to be harder as some of the items formerly had to be High Quality, but HQ gathering was removed in patch 6.0.
• Each seal needs a certain gathered item, as well as 15 of an item that can drop randomly from level 45 Fieldcraft Leves, or can be bought from a Grand Company (costs  600 or  50 each).
• For Botanist/Miner, they need to collect 30 of the same Unspoiled Node item from the Supra step.
• For Fisher, they need to collect 10 of a fish that spawns at a specific time of day, and which requires using a crafted lure.
