Defending the Hive is a level 32 FATE spawned in South Shroud.

This is part of the FATE chain in South Shroud. This 3-part saga has an achievement for completing any of the FATEs after the first.

Breaching the Hive (x:22.0, y:18.0)
Clearing the Hive (x:22.0, y:17.0) — Awards Boughbury Burning achievement
Depending on the result of Clearing the Hive, one of the following will spawn:
- If any of the Wood Wailer NPCs are left alive: Defending the Hive (x:22.0, y:17.0) — Awards Boughbury Burning achievement
- If none of the Wood Wailer NPCs are left alive: Keeping the Hive (x:23.0, y:16.0) — Awards Boughbury Burning achievement
