Time-bomb Ifrit Plumes. They start small and when they flare up and get bigger they're about to explode. They apply vulnerability.

Downburst (tornado in the center) can move these, knocking players and the flame spheres away from itself. Do /not/ run into downburst's circular AOE, stay outside it. It will hit a tank for 88k. (heh.)
In Deltascape v1.0, a team of 8 players will engage and defeat Alte Roite.
The ground becomes icy during these sometimes too, causing you to slide around.

Ramuh's lightning circles, don't stack with these.
The main mechanic of the fight revolves around Flame orbs, which spawn in various patterns around the room after Alte Roite casts Flame. They start small, flare up, and explode with almost no ground indicator. It is a good idea to avoid standing around them after they flare up. If they hit you, they will deal heavy damage and apply vulnerability.

Twin Bolt is a shared tank buster. Kind of hits for peanuts though. The lightning tethers the OT and MT together.
Two attacks can move the Flame orbs around. One is Downburst, which knocks players and Flame orbs away from Alte Roite. Do /not/ run into downburst's circular AOE, as it will kill even a tank. The other attack is Breath Wing; Alte Roite will fly to one end of the room (near a Flame orb), and knock all players away from that direction. Standing near him will allow you to avoid this attack.

Frontal line attack, easy to avoid.
Alte Roite will occasionally cast a lightning circle around players (spread out) and a shared damage marker (stack). Alte Roite will also turn the ground into ice, making it harder to correctly execute these mechanics. Mid-way through the fight, Alte Roite will start to cast Classical Elements, which is a combined attack involving several of the above mechanics.

Charbdys sets all HP to 1, cannot be avoided or mitigated.
Alte Roite will regularly cost Roar, a light raid-wide damage attack. Later in the fight, Alte Roite will first cast Charbdys, which sets everyone's HP to 1, and cannot be avoided or mitigated, before casting Roar. Roar has a timer, so healers should replenish everyone's health during this time.

Roar is a raidwide light-damage, casts right after Charbdys.
Alte Roite will also regularly cast Twin Bolt, which is a tankbuster that hits the main tank and the nearest player. The main tank and off-tank should stand close to each other for this attack. There is also a tankbuster attack without cast, so healers should be wary.

This guy is kind of tank and spank with some AOE dancing. Give yourself plenty of distance from the flame orbs that spawn, and when they start to get knocked around it's easy to avoid the first set, then the knock back happens, and you run back towards the center to avoid them. If he's doing this on the edge of the arena, stack on the wall next to the boss then scatter to avoid clipping ramuh levin circles while dodging the second set.

Boss likes to pair charbdys with roar later on. Just heal through it. Tanking is easy, but keep him away from center orbs that first spawn.

Oh and tanks keep in mind: Likes to weave in animation-less cast-less tankbusters that hit for about 20k in tank stance unmitigated otherwise. Happens frequently and hits like a truck. I swear I've seen it crit but maybe not.

Deltascape v1.0 Guide

In Deltascape v1.0, a team of 8 players will engage and defeat Alte Roite.

Alte Roite will also regularly cast Twin Bolt, which is a tankbuster that hits the main tank and the nearest player. The main tank and off-tank should stand close to each other for this attack. There is also a tankbuster attack without cast, so healers should be wary.
