Limited jobs are jobs designed for casual solo play, with mechanics that are not balanced for grouping, and a level cap of 60.

Currently the only limited job is the Blue Mage.

When playing as a blue mage, it is possible to participate in duties with other players in preformed or undersized parties. However, the following duties will remain inaccessible:

Blue mages gain greater experience from battling enemies in the open world than other jobs do.

  • No bonuses are granted to experience gained from FATE or guildleve enemies.

Blue mage cannot be used to progress through the main scenario.

Retainers cannot be assigned the blue mage job.
