Behemoths and Broomsticks is a stage in The Masked Carnivale for Blue Mage, introduced in patch 4.5 with Stormblood.

Act 1

Enemies

Kronprinz Behemoth

Strategy

  • No shortcuts on this fight.
  • Use Diamondback to absorb his Meteor attack at 50% HP
  • Dodge Trounce & Comet AOEs
  • Charbrydis will be cast at the beginning of the fight and after Comet/Trounce combos. Stay near the edge of the arena so he casts these out of the way

Kronzprinz Behemoth will cast Charbrydis (in-place tornado that will cause massive damage if you are near) early on in the fight where you're standing and will cast several more during the fight. Align these carefully as you'll need to move around them when he casts Comet.

Comet drops several AOEs around the platform twice. Avoid these while Behemoth will also cast Trounce, a large cone AOE.

When Behemoth casts Meteor, use Diamondback to survive the cast.
