"That's lotus. Black Lotus."

A Highlander man of indeterminate age who was a surprise entrant to Sultana Nanamo's revival of the storied Ul Cup. His true name and identity shrouded in mystery, he forged an impressive path to the finals by making short work of such formidable foes such as Captain Jenlyns of the Sultansworn and First Sword Mylla of the Gladiators' Guild. His victory streak came to an end, however, in a showdown with the Warrior of Light, forcing him to settle for second place. In the end, he was revealed to be none other than Aldis, the Sword of Nald, a gladiator exiled from Ul'dah when he was implicated in a bout-fixing scandal seven years prior.
