“Raised from the waters by the thrice-mad Illuminati, the steel colossus Alexander yet towers over the Thaliak, bleeding the hinterlands dry with a thirst for aether that will not be slaked. The time has come for action. As Y'shtola and Master Matoya seek to magically sever the primal's death grip on the land, you will take to the skies with Cid in hopes of securing an ingress through the colossus's mighty pate. Objectives
- Arrive at the Cranial Plate: 0/1

Strategy
- Platforms will fall into the lava. This is indicated by the heating rails and the arrow wall on the outside of the section to fall.
- Off tank uses the power cores to animate the add husks if they aren't on a platform that will fall.
- Off tank should tank adds on a platform that will fall so that they will fall in.
- If adds have health when they fall in the lava, the boss is buffed.
- If adds don't fall into the lava when the boss uses Stockpile, it will "repair" more of itself and do more damage.
- Faust will spawn and two platforms will become active. Faust must be killed before the platform falls and his remains must fall into the lava or the party will wipe.
- To do this, Faust must be killed on one of the active platforms before it falls into the lava. If you can't kill Faust on the first platform, move him to the second platform (going counter-clockwise) to kill him there before the boss uses Stockpile.
- The boss does three normal attacks on the main tank before a stronger attack or mechanic, so prepare a shield for the larger hit.
Quick Tips
- No scrap metal or adds should be around when the boss casts Stockpile so make sure they are killed on a glowing platform and they die before the platform drops.
- All adds, including Faust, must be killed on glowing platforms. The difficulty with Faust is only that he has extra HP, so you may have to kill him on the second platform instead of the first.
