Master Recipe Tomes

Master Recipe Tomes unlock the Master category of Special Recipes. These tomes can be used by the corresponding crafting classes, beginning at level 50 for Crafting and Demimateria Tomes, and level 15 for Glamour Tomes. Master Recipe Tomes were introduced in Patch 2.2.

There are three types of Master Recipe Tomes: Glamours, Demimateria, and Crafting.

Master Recipes: Glamours

Main article: Glamours

Unlock Requirements:

• Quest: Submission Impossible.
• Level 15 in the named Disciple of the Hand class.

Acquisition:

• Tataroga in Mor Dhona (X:22 Y:6)
• Goberin in Vesper Bay (X:12 Y:15)

As of Patch 4.2, glamour prisms are no longer armor-specific. These Master Tomes will unlock the generic Glamour Prism crafting recipe for that Disciple of the Hand class.

Master I and Master II Tomes

Unlock Requirements:

• Quest: Just Tooling Around.
• Level 50 in the named Disciple of the Hand class.

Master I and II Tomes require the submission of various High Quality crafted items to Talan in Mor Dhona (X:22 Y:6). This is due to Scrips not being introduced until Heavensward.

Master III-IX Tomes

As of Patch 5.3, all tomes from Master III to Master VIII are available under "Master Recipes" from all Scrip Exchange NPCs. You must first unlock the relevant level range of the Scrip Exchange before being able to purchase the books.

Note: The tomes remain available from their original Splendors Vendors in exchange for the expansion-specific tokens, some of which have been renamed. The cost in scrips is the same.

• Required level to use the books for the named Disciple of the Hand class varies.
  • Master III requires level 55
  • Master IV requires level 60
  • Master V and VI requires level 70
  • Master VII and VIII requires level 80
  • Master IX requires level 90
