Pre-Requisite

Before begin to create your Animus Zodiac Weapon, you must:

• Complete your Atma Zodiac Weapon.

Though the course of the quest you will need a total of 4500 Allagan Tomestone of Soldiery.

Trials of the Braves

Starting NPC:	Jalzahn
Starting Location:	Hyrstmill, North Shroud (x30,y19)
Speak with Jalzahn with your Atma Zodiac Weapon equipped who will explain that in order to further enhance your weapon you need to recreate the valorous deeds of the Zodiac Braves, who were revered heroes in Thavnairian legend. These deeds are recorded in a collection of nine sacred texts called the “Trials of the Braves”. He will send you to Rowena in Revenant's Toll - who in turn will direct you to G'jusana who is nearby. After speaking to G'jusana, the quest will move to your "completed quest log". G'jusana will sell you one book at a time for 500 Allagan Tomestone of Soldiery each. Each book contains a series of tasks to complete: 10 specific monsters to kill and 3 dungeons, 3 FATEs and 3 levequests to complete. You must finish all the tasks in one book before completing the next - however you can complete the books in any order. Each book will increase a stat on your Atma Zodiac Weapon. Once all nine books have been completed; return to Jalzahn along with your unequipped Atma Relic Weapon and you will be rewarded your Atma Zodiac Weapon. Books Notes Atma drop randomly from any FATE in that zone. It is completely random: you may get 3 atmas in the space of an hour or just 1 atma after three days. The drop rate is suggested to be somewhere around 2%; which means on average at least 600 FATEs for all 12 atmas ([). Being in a party or having your Chocobo out has no effect on the suggested 2% chance of drop. Being able to finish FATEs faster, however, will allow for more chances in the same amount of time. When Atma's do drop, you will be alerted in-game by a popup. You must be equipped with a Zenith Relic Weapon in order to get Atma; however this can be any Zenith Relic Weapon / job. Atmas go into your normal inventory rather than your Key Item inventory. Make sure you have free space in your inventory. Your rating in the FATE doesn't affect your drop rate; however only successfully completed FATEs will drop atmas You do not need to stay for the entire length of the Because the quest is marked as "completed" after the explanation from Jalzahn; the game does not automatically track the number / type of atams in your collection. You can collect multiple Atmas of the same kind; however only one of each type is used per weapon upgrade. This is a good opportunity for you to train your Chocobo if you wish.

After obtaining a Animus Zodiac Weapon (iLvl 100), it can be upgraded to a Novus Zodiac Weapon (iLvl 110) by completing the 12 books in the quest Celestial Radiance Star Light, Star Bright and corresponding Sphere Scroll.
