The following are some healing numbers for the records as of 09/03/2013.
As an Arcanist:
INT: 236 MND: 148 Attack Magic Potency: 236 Healing Magic Potency: 148 Physick heals for 250 - 263
As a Scholar:
INT: 236 MND: 205 Attack Magic Potency: 236 Healing Magic Potency: 205 Physick heals for 360 - 381.
INT: 205 MND: 236 Attack Magic Potency: 205 Healing Magic Potency: 236 Physick heals for 327 - 342.
Similar observations were made with a Scholar casting other healing spells, such as Cure and Adloquium.
As you can see, Intelligence / Attack Magic Potency is used by Scholars to determine how powerful their healing spells are. This makes sense, because otherwise an Arcanist would have to choose to either spend their bonus attribute points in Mind OR Intelligence, and thus significantly weaken their role as a Scholar or Summoner respectively.
