* The effects provided by this action ''do not'' stack, therefore if there are two astrologians in the same group both have to use different sects to make full use of their added benefits.
Durinal Sect adds a Heal over Time effect to [[Aspected Benefic]], [[Aspected Helios]] and [[Collective Unconscious]].
* In parties with a [[scholar]] and an astrologian, it's recommended to favor this action over of its counterpart - [[Nocturnal Sect]] - since scholars only have access to a party-wide shield buff; this would provide both shielding and heal over time effects to the party.
 
* In parties with a [[white mage]] and an astrologian, it's recommended to favor this action's counterpart - [[Nocturnal Sect]] - since white mages only have access to party-wide heal over time abilities; this would provide both shielding and heal over time effects to the party.
When in a party with a second Astrologian, the two should coordinate who should use Durinal Sect or [[Nocturnal Sect]] to make full use of both spells' added benefits.
 
If in a party with a [[White Mage]] the Astrologian would be wise to switch to [[Nocturnal Sect]] so the party has both Heal over Time effects, and a shields to soak up damage, rather than stay in Durinal Sect.


If the party has a [[Scholar]] the Astrologian would be wise to stay in Durinal Sect, as the Scholar can cast shields while the Astrologian could cover Healing over Time effects.
