“Deals lightning damage with a potency of 2400.
Additional Effect: Lightning damage over time.
Potency: 400
Duration: 15s
Additional Effect: Grants Thundercloud if target is dealt over 8,000 points of damage while under the effect of Thunder.
Duration: 10s
Can only be cast while under the effect of Thundercloud. Thunder effect is removed from target upon receiving Thundercloud status.
Only one Thunder spell-induced damage over time effect per caster can be inflicted upon a single target.

Thunder III (PvP) is an action unlocked at level 1. It is available for Black Mage.

Patch 6.1 (2022-04-12): Removed.
Patch 5.58 (2021-07-19): Damage required to trigger Thundercloud has been increased from 6,000 to 8,000.- Patch 5.1 (2019-10-29):
- Potency has been increased from 2,000 to 2,400.
- Requirement to be granted Thundercloud has been increased from 5,000 to 6,000 points of damage dealt.
- Patch 5.0 (2019-07-02): Damage over time potency has been increased from 300 to 400.
Patch 4.05 (2017-07-17): Damage required to gain the Thunder III Ready status reduced from 6,000 to 5,000.- Patch 4.0 (2017-06-20): Added.
