Sage's Arms are weapons used by sages. They consist of 2-handed nouliths. These have three different sheathing styles depending on the subtype of the weapon (wings, pendulums, or milpreves).
“You are ready to embark on your training, and naturally it begins with the armaments─a set of short staves known as nouliths.
Nouliths trace their roots to healers of eld, who employed naturally occurring objects of power known as adder stones. These stones, which harbor spiritual energy, were placed around the sick and ailing to create an aetheric confluence through which the healer channeled her magicks. From this primitive design, Nouliths gradually evolved into their present form. While their construction is far more sophisticated, the basic principle remains unchanged.
In practice, the sage wields nouliths as an extension of her mind, sending them darting through the air to weave the arcane patterns through which she unleashes advanced magicks. If they sound difficult to wield, well, it is because they are. Even the Studium's most talented require years of training to become proficient.

“During the Second Astral Era, practitioners of healing magicks implemented their arts with the support of naturally occcurring objects of power known as adder stones. Records indicate that, by arranging them around an ailing patient, these healers were able to create a confluence through which to channel curative aether.
Other traditions would adopt the concepts at work in adder stones more broadly into magical foci such as canes, as well as arcane geometries. Early adopters of somanoutics, on the other hand, sought to harness the ancient power of adder stones entire—thus, the noulith.
Made form a comparable material to adder stones, the highly maneuverable nouliths can create arcane geometries of heretofore unknown complexity, allowing for intricate and powerful magicks. Still, to cite nouliths as the only viable foci for a sage's power would be folly—many can and do convert amulets, gemstones, and any number of other objects into potent tools for both combat and healing using the same principles.
