AAC Light-heavyweight Tier

General Information

AAC Light-heavyweight Tier is the first section of the Arcadion, the main 8-player raid in Dawntrail. Released on July 16, 2024, AAC Light-heavyweight Tier requires players with item level of 685 or higher to enter. Once unlocked, the raid can be queued from the Duty Finder. The savage-difficulty version of the raid,  AAC Light-heavyweight Tier (Savage), was released two weeks later with patch 7.05.

Unlock

Completion of the level 100 quest chain starting with A New Challenger Appears by talking to the Stylish Stranger in Solution Nine (X:19.1 Y:18.8). Players first must complete Main Scenario Quest Dawntrail.

To unlock each floor after the first, continue the quest line and complete the consecutive floor. Each floor is listed separately.

Rewards

Treasure coffers that appear upon completing AAC Light-heavyweight Tier will not yield gear, but instead yield tokens that can be traded for gear of your choosing.

As of patch 7.1, weekly loot restrictions have been removed except for the Completion Reward (see below).

Item Exchange

The items obtained from treasure coffers can be exchanged for gear by speaking with Hhihwi in Solution Nine (X:8.7 Y:13.4).

Completion Reward

Upon completing AAC Light-heavyweight M4, players will also earn an   Light-heavy Holoblade, once per week. Four of these can be exchanged with Hhihwi in Solution Nine (X:8.7 Y:13.4) for an   Universal Tomestone, which can in turn be exchanged for weapons using 500 Allagan Tomestones of Heliometry.

• Reward eligibility will be reset every Tuesday at 1:00 a.m. (PDT) / 8:00 (GMT) / 18:00 (AEST).

Trivia

• The name of the tier appears to reference the WWF Light Heavyweight Championship wrestling tournament.
• In a Live Letter prior to the release of Dawntrail, the Japanese name of the first duty was accidentally revealed as "ライトヘビー級１", which roughly translates to "Light Heavyweight, Round 1".
• This is also the first raid tier in which each boss has a unique and original battle theme.
