At level 50, purchasable secondary tools are low Item Level and gathering armor is largely unavailable for purchase. It is recommended to instead craft HQ icon.png HQ ABasic-rarity Heavensward leveling gear for those slots.

Crafting

Primary Tools

When leveling, it is preferred to use the IL 55 Mastercraft Tools until the next round of major gear updates at lv 63, assuming one is using the Ishgardian Restoration as the primary leveling method. Higher IL, level 50 tools, are not worth the increase in stats for the effort they require to obtain. [1]
