Time-bomb Ifrit Plumes. They start small and when they flare up and get bigger they're about to explode. They apply vulnerability.

*'''Wyrm Tail''': Tankbuster. Moderate damage.
Downburst (tornado in the center) can move these, knocking players and the flame spheres away from itself. Do /not/ run into downburst's circular AOE, stay outside it. It will hit a tank for 88k. (heh.)
*'''Flame > Fire Orbs''': Raid-wide AOE. Light damage. > Circular AOE around the spawned orbs and stacking {{status effect|vulnerability up}} '''[[Vulnerability Up]]'''. Can be moved by '''Downburst'''.
The ground becomes icy during these sometimes too, causing you to slide around.
*'''Roar''': Raid-wide AOE.

*'''Breathwing''': [[Knockback]]. Move towards the boss during cast, and again after the knockback.
Ramuh's lightning circles, don't stack with these.
*'''Twin Bolt''': Tankbuster and damage to tethered player closest to main tank.

*'''Clamp''': Line AOE with knockback.
Twin Bolt is a shared tank buster. Kind of hits for peanuts though. The lightning tethers the OT and MT together.
*'''Thin Ice''': Arena floor turns to ice.

*'''Levinbolt''': Spread. Puddle AOE.
Frontal line attack, easy to avoid.
*'''{{action icon|Blaze}}''': Stack.

*'''Downburst''': Avoid tornado in center of the arena. Causes knockback and instant death when cast ends and player is inside the tornado.
Charbdys sets all HP to 1, cannot be avoided or mitigated.
*'''The Classical Elements''': Indicates phase change. Various combinations of: '''Fire Orbs''', '''Thin Ice''', '''Levinbolt''', '''Blaze''', and '''Downburst'''.

*'''Charybdis''': Drops HP to 1. Followed by '''Roar'''.
Roar is a raidwide light-damage, casts right after Charbdys.

This guy is kind of tank and spank with some AOE dancing. Give yourself plenty of distance from the flame orbs that spawn, and when they start to get knocked around it's easy to avoid the first set, then the knock back happens, and you run back towards the center to avoid them. If he's doing this on the edge of the arena, stack on the wall next to the boss then scatter to avoid clipping ramuh levin circles while dodging the second set.

Boss likes to pair charbdys with roar later on. Just heal through it. Tanking is easy, but keep him away from center orbs that first spawn.

Oh and tanks keep in mind: Likes to weave in animation-less cast-less tankbusters that hit for about 20k in tank stance unmitigated otherwise. Happens frequently and hits like a truck. I swear I've seen it crit but maybe not.
