“Holminster Switch─an idyllic settlement in the northern reaches of Lakeland; a tranquil village where folk spend their days raising livestock and tending crops; a ripe target for a Lightwarden and its swarm of voracious sin eaters.
Reports of bloody carnage have reached the Crystarium, and the guard has deployed in force in answer to Holminster's plea for aid. The Crystal Exarch has need of your strength, for this is no skirmish with a stray abomination─to triumph against a Warden would be to strike a telling blow in the unending war for the First's survival.

Crystal Exarch, Lyna, Alisaie
Alisaie: Oh gods, that sin eater... It can't be...
Crystal Exarch: They swell their ranks with wild beasts...
Lyna: I fear for the village. Let us make short work of these!
Alisaie: I knew it! That's the eater from Amh Araeng!
Lyna: No match for us, it seems...
Lyna: Survivors! We must buy them time to flee!
Crystal Exarch: Go! Take refuge in the Crystarium!
Crystal Exarch: ...This slaughter must be answered.
Alisaie: I wondered where you went..
Alisaie: Tesleen... Be at peace.
Alisaie: We were too slow to save them!
Lyna: We free their souls. That is all we can do...
Crystal Exarch: We are close... Be on your guard!
Crystal Exarch: ...We stand in the presence of a Lightwarden.
Lyna: Aye, this is the true scourge of Lakeland!
Crystal Exarch, Alphinaud, Lyna
Crystal Exarch: Look! Over there... Does it yet hunt for prey?
Crystal Exarch: They swell their ranks with wild beasts...
Lyna: I fear for the village. Let us make short work of these!
Crystal Exarch: We'll not slip past this one. To arms!
Lyna: No match for us, it seems...
Lyna: Survivors! We must buy them time to flee!
Crystal Exarch: Go! Take refuge in the Crystarium!
Lyna: Steel your hearts. There may be others we can save.
Alphinaud: Aye, we draw the eaters to us!
Lyna: It seems confused. It must be newly turned...
Lyna: Are you alright? You've gone pale...
Lyna: The manor house is just up ahead!
Alphinaud: As is the source of this suffocating aether...
Crystal Exarch: ...We stand in the presence of a Lightwarden.
Lyna: Aye, this is the true scourge of Lakeland!
Crystal Exarch, Alphinaud, and Alisaie
Alisaie: Oh gods, that sin eater... It can't be...
Alisaie: The eaters corrupt everything...
Alisaie: This is the monster we saw in Amh Araeng!
Alphinaud: Easy now, Alisaie. We face it together!
Alphinaud: Is everyone alright?
Alisaie: We're fine! Let's keep moving...
Alisaie: Wait, those are villagers!
Crystal Exarch: ...This slaughter must be answered.
Alphinaud: Another eater!
Alisaie: ...So, this is where you went.
Alphinaud: Alisaie? You've gone pale...
Alisaie: ...I'm fine. We should keep moving.
Alisaie: We were too slow to save them!
Crystal Exarch: We are close... Be on your guard!
Crystal Exarch: ...We stand in the presence of a Lightwarden.

Alisaie: Rest well...
Alphinaud: Alisaie...
Crystal Exarch: It was no less than what I expected, but—well done.
Lyna: A Lightwarden, gone. I can scarce believe it.
