Despair is an action unlocked at level 72. It is available for Black Mage.
Related traits
Enhanced Astral Fire (Lv. 100) - Grants a stack of Astral Soul upon landing Fire IV or Flare.
Notes
- Requires at least 800 MP to cast, but consumes all MP.
- Does not consume Umbral Hearts, and does not receive an MP cost discount from them.
- Cast time is 2s prior to learning the Enhanced Astral Fire trait.
History
Patch 7.2 (2025-03-25): Cast time before learning Enhanced Astral Fire has been reduced from 3 to 2 seconds.- Patch 7.1 (2024-11-12): The trait Enhanced Astral Fire will now make the cast time instant.
- Patch 7.05 (2024-07-30): Potency has been increased from 340 to 350.
Patch 6.0 (2021-12-07):
- Potency has been changed from 380 to 340.
- Execution requirement has been changed from both Enochian and Astral Fire to only Astral Fire.
