Players can gain reputation with the various Beastmen tribes such as the Sylphs or Amalj'aa by completing the daily Beast Tribe Quests for them. Players will not only gain reputation points for each quest completed but also experience points, gil, Tomestones of Mythology, various crystals for crafting and Venture tokens. As the player gains more reputation, you are able to unlock the ability to purchase various unique items such as dyes, minions and mounts.

Reputation, also known as societal relations (known as "tribal relations" prior to patch 7.0), are points that players can earn by helping out the individual friendly allied societies and building trust with them. Players receive reputation points through completion of daily allied society quests, earning EXP, gil, tomestones, and other rewards in the process. Building enough reputation with an allied society will increase the player's overall rank with that society, unlocking new quests and items for purchase.

Reputation is divided to 8 ranks. The first rank, the rank players start off with, is Neutral, the second rank is Recognized, the third rank is Friendly, the fourth rank is Trusted and the fifth rank is sworn.
Currently, there are eighteen different allied societies the player may develop relations with:
*Amalj'aa, Ixali, Kobold, Sahagin, and Sylph from A Realm Reborn.
*Vanu Vanu, Vath, and Moogle from Heavensward.
*Kojin, Ananta, and Namazu from Stormblood.
*Pixie, Qitari, and Dwarves from Shadowbringers.

Rank 1: Neutral
Earning Reputation
Neutral reputation goes from 0 to 150.

The quests available at Neutral reputation grant 5 reputation points each and you can do a maximum of 3 quests. Doing all 3 quests will earn you 15 rep points per day which means you can max this reputation rank in 10 days.
Reputation points can be earned through the completion of daily quests given by members of the allied societies. Players are given 12 quest allowances per day (viewable in the Timers menu), and may use them to accept any daily quests of their choosing. The amount of points earned per quest varies, based on society and the player's reputation rank.
Additionally each quest gives the player 8,797 EXP, 420 gil, 15 shards of various types.
The Ixali quests available at Neutral reputation grant 15 reputation points each.
The Vanu Vanu quests available at Neutral reputation grant 50 reputation points each. Doing just three quests will raise the player's reputation to 'Recognised' status.
At Neutral, players gain the ability to purchase various crafting materials from each Beast Tribe.

Rank 2: Recognized
Depending on the allied society, players are limited on how many quests they may accept from them per day. For A Realm Reborn societies, each increase in rank unlocks a new quest-giver who will offer three of their own daily quests per day. Players may therefore accept three quests at Neutral rank, six quests at Recognized rank, and so on. For Heavensward, Stormblood, Shadowbringers, and Endwalker societies, however, the quest-giver always remains the same and continues to offer only three quests per day. As such, only three quests may be accepted on any given day from each society, regardless of rank.
Recognized reputation goes from 0 to 360.
The quests available at Recognized reputation grant 7 reputation points each. If you just do the Recognized rank quests, you will earn 21 points per day which means you can max this reputation rank in 18 days. If you use all 6 daily allowances, doing the 3 Neutral rank quests and the 3 Recognized rank quests, you can earn 36 points and max this rank in 10 days.
The Ixali quests available at Recognized reputation grant 17 reputation points each.
Additionally each quest gives the player 9,142 EXP, 540 gil and 1 Venture token.
At Recognized, players gain the ability to purchase dyes unique to each Beast Tribe.

Rank 3: Friendly
The exception to this is on the day the player achieves a new rank with the allied society. Upon reaching the reputation maximum for the current rank, a new quest becomes available to unlock the next rank (and progress that society's story)Completing that quest and unlocking the next rank makes an additional 3 daily quests available for that society, for that day onlyAfter the next daily reset, the society returns to only offering 3 quests per day. Using these 3 additional bonus daily quests can shorten the total time required to reach maximum reputation rank by 3-5 days, depending on the society, though it comes at the cost of using 3 additional from the global 12-per-day limit on those days. Notably, these 3 additional daily quests are only available when the society's available set of daily quests expands. With the exception of the Moogle and Namazu societies, there are no additional daily quests upon reaching the Sworn rank, and thus there will not be an additional 3 daily quests available that day when reaching Sworn with other societies.
Friendly reputation goes from 0 to 510.
The quests available at Friendly reputation grant 10 reputation points eachIf you just do the 3 Friendly rank quests, you will earn 30 points per day which means you can max this reputation rank in 17 daysIf you use all 6 daily allowances, doing the 3 Recognized rank quests and the 3 Friendly rank quests, you can earn 51 points and max this rank in 10 days.
The Ixali quests available at Friendly reputation grant 20 reputation points each.
Additionally each quest gives the player 10,473 EXP, 780 gil and 1 Venture token.
At Friendly, players gain the ability to purchase more unique dyes.

Rank 4: Trusted
Reputation progress between ranks can be checked at any time by accessing the "Reputation" tab in the Character menu.
Trusted reputation goes from 0 to 720.
Max rank: Amalj'aa, Sylphs, Kobolds, Sahagin.
At Trusted, players gain the ability to purchase minions and mounts unique to each Beast Tribe (Excluding Ixal).
The Ixali quests available at Trusted reputation grant 24 reputation points each.

Rank 5: Respected
Moving to the next rank
Respected reputation goes from 0 to 990.
After the player has filled the required reputation in the current rank, a new quest will appear from the societal leader. Completing this quest will move the player to the next rank where the reputation may be increased again. Once reputation is full for a given rank, no additional reputation can be earned until the player moves to the next rank. If the reputation to the next rank is not an even multiple of the reputation gain per daily quest, some of the reputation gain from the last daily quest turned in to reach that rank's cap is unavoidably lost.
The Ixali quests available at Respected reputation grant 29 reputation points each.
There are multiple rank up strategies depending on the player's goals:
2 Respected Rank quests + Delivery Quest = 108 per day -> 10 days to rank up
3 Respected Rank quests = 87 per day -> 12 days to rank up
3 Respected Rank quests + Delivery Quest = 137 per day -> 8 days to rank up
3 Respected Rank quests + Delivery Quest + 2 Trusted Rank quests = 185 per day -> 6 days to rank up

Rank 6: Honored
Ranks
Honored reputation goes from 0 to 1320.
Reputation is divided into nine different ranks. After completing the requisite quests and unlocking access to an allied society, players will start their relationship either at Neutral (Rank 1) or Friendly (Rank 3) depending on the society.
The Ixali quests available at Respected reputation grant 35 reputation points each.
There are multiple rank up strategies depending on the player's goals:
2 Honored Rank quests + Delivery Quest = 120 per day -> 11 days to rank up
3 Honored Rank quests = 105 per day -> 13 days to rank up
3 Honored Rank quests + Delivery Quest = 155 per day -> 9 days to rank up
3 Honored Rank quests + Delivery Quest + 2 Respected Rank quests = 213 per day -> 7 days to rank up
3 Honored Rank quests + 3 Respected Rank quests = 192 per day -> 7 days to rank up

Rank 7: Sworn
Not every allied society will use every rank: the Amalj'aa, Kobold, Sahagin, and Sylph societies, for example, "max out" at the reputation rank of Trusted, meaning they cannot achieve any higher rank with reputation points alone. Completion of the appropriate Intersocietal quests, however, will advance their rank to Allied.
Max rank : Ixal.
At Sworn, players gain the ability to purchase minions and mounts unique to the Ixal Beast Tribe.

Rank 8: Bloodsworn
Note that the rank of Allied exists both at Rank 8 and Rank 9. This is because the A Realm Reborn societies do not use the rank of Bloodsworn and classify Allied as the eighth rank.

The Societal Relations page, found in the player's Character menu under the "Reputation" tab.

Currently, there are eighteen different allied societies the player may develop relations with:

Earning Reputation

An example of a daily quest awarding reputation points to the player. Here, completing the quest rewards 20 Sahagin Relations.

Reputation points can be earned through the completion of daily quests given by members of the allied societies. Players are given 12 quest allowances per day (viewable in the Timers menu), and may use them to accept any daily quests of their choosing. The amount of points earned per quest varies, based on society and the player's reputation rank.

The exception to this is on the day the player achieves a new rank with the allied society. Upon reaching the reputation maximum for the current rank, a new quest becomes available to unlock the next rank (and progress that society's story). Completing that quest and unlocking the next rank makes an additional 3 daily quests available for that society, for that day only. After the next daily reset, the society returns to only offering 3 quests per day.

Reputation progress between ranks can be checked at any time by accessing the "Reputation" tab in the Character menu.

Moving to the next rank

After the player has filled the required reputation in the current rank, a new quest will appear from the societal leader. Completing this quest will move the player to the next rank where the reputation may be increased again. Once reputation is full for a given rank, no additional reputation can be earned until the player moves to the next rank. If the reputation to the next rank is not an even multiple of the reputation gain per daily quest, some of the reputation gain from the last daily quest turned in to reach that rank's cap is unavoidably lost.

Ranks

Reputation is divided into nine different ranks. After completing the requisite quests and unlocking access to an allied society, players will start their relationship either at Neutral (Rank 1) or Friendly (Rank 3) depending on the society.

Note that the rank of Allied exists both at Rank 8 and Rank 9. This is because the A Realm Reborn societies do not use the rank of Bloodsworn and classify Allied as the eighth rank.

 • The Vath quests grant 70 reputation points each (cap in 7 days at 3 quests per day).

Sworn (Rank 7)

The reputation rank of Sworn requires 1730 reputation points to cap.

The Ixal society "maxes out" reputation points at this rank -- going from Neutral to Sworn can be achieved in a total of 37 days if players complete three of the highest reputation-giving quests a day (excluding the quest Deliverance). Less time is needed if you use more of your daily allowances on the Ixal. To increase reputation to the true maximum rank, Allied, players must complete the A Realm Reborn series of Intersocietal quests.

Reputation points earned through quests unlocked at this rank vary:

 • The Moogle and Vanu Vanu quests grant 50 reputation points each (cap in 12 days at 3 quests per day).

Allied / Bloodsworn (Rank 8)

The reputation rank of Allied (A Realm Reborn societies) or Bloodsworn (Heavensward, Stormblood, Shadowbringers and Endwalker societies) requires 0 reputation points to cap.

Earning reputation points for all Heavensward, Stormblood, Shadowbringers, and Endwalker societies stops at this rank, displaying 0/0. Going from the starting reputation to to Bloodsworn can be achieved in a total of 29 days for Vath, 31 days for Namazu, Ananta, Kojin, Pixies, Qitari, Dwarves, Arkasodara, Omicron, and Loporrit, and 41 days for the Moogles and Vanu Vanu if players complete three of the highest reputation-giving quests a day. This time can be shortened by 1 day per intervening rank, excluding Sworn (ex. 3 days reduction for a society going from Friendly to Bloodsworn), if the player uses an additional 3 daily quest allowances on the days that a new reputation rank is reached (and completes the newly-unlocked story quest that day to unlock an additional 3 daily quests at the new rank level).

To attain reputation rank of Allied for all A Realm Reborn societies, players must achieve the maximum rank attainable with reputation points for each society individually (Sworn for Ixal, Trusted for all others). Afterwards, to complete the A Realm Reborn series of Intersocietal quests.
