Arcanist Traits

Arcanist is a Disciple of Magic class capable of summoning carbuncle as his or her companion. The Arcanist's Guild is in the marine city of Limsa Lominsa. If you choose arcanist as your first class, you will start off in the city of Limsa Lominsa. At level 30, Arcanist can acquire the jobs Summoner and Scholar.

Play Style

The Arcanist is a class with powerful damage-over-time (DOT) and debuffing abilities. The emerald carbuncle, called forth by Summon, is a spell casting, damage dealing pet, the topaz carbuncle, invoked by Summon II, is a mighty tanking pet. The most important stat for the arcanist is intelligence, which increases attack magic potency.

Enhanced Intelligence III	32	Increases Intelligence by 6.
