Dark Lanner is a mount that can be summoned with a Dark Lanner Whistle, which has a chance of dropping upon completion of The Minstrel's Ballad: Nidhogg's Rage or can be purchased from Bertana in Idyllshire for 99 Horde Totems.
Collecting this mount alongside with 6 other Lanner mounts allows you to acquire a Firebird Whistle through a sidequest Fiery Wings, Fiery Hearts.
