Additional Information

F'lhaminn is a retired performer who once captured the hearts of a generation as the famed Songstress of Ul'dah. Some fifteen years past, she and the goldsmith Niellefresne, her lover, joined together with other prominent youths to set a beast stampeding at a parade. Their intent had been to gain political clout by smoothly resolving the incident. However, the plan failed, and a number of people were left dead in its wake—including F'lhaminn's paramour, though under suspicious circumstances. The Seeker of the Sun singer thereafter raised a young girl named Ascilia, who her machinations had orphaned. Now thirty-seven, she works with her adopted daughter—having since changed her name to Minfilia—and delights the Scions with her carefully crafted Ul'dahn cuisine. [1]

While F'lhaminn is uses a Keeper of the Moon model, she is named like a Seeker of the Sun. This is probably an oversight.

Lore

Following the Seventh Umbral Calamity, it was believed that F'lhaminn had lost her life. In truth, she did indeed survive, and remained hidden for many years. She was found later by Alphinaud, who hoped to reunite her with Minfilia and convince her to relocate to Mor Dhona following the attack on the Waking Sands. The Warrior of Light met with her, and she agreed to meet with Minfilia if they help her finish making a batch of her perfume. They do, and she gives it to Minfilia after they reconnect, and convinces her to move to the Rising Stones.

When the Crystal Braves betrayed the Scions of the Seventh Dawn, F'lhaminn warned Tataru in time to help her escape, while she fled to Thavnair with Hoary Boulder and Coultenet. Some time later, when she returned, she was upset to learn that Minfilia had yet to be found, but received bittersweet closure when she heard Minfilia whisper her thanks to her from the Lifestream after she returned from stopping the Flood of Light on The First.

F'lhaminn learned that some time after the Calamity, her love, Niellefresne had been killed by a blade named Heartstrike, which prevented him from returning fully to the Lifestream. Seeing this as a final chance to say her proper goodbyes as opposed to all those years ago, she says her peace, and removes the blade. It shatters in her hand, and Niellefresne finally fades to aether.

Much later, after their adventure on The First, the Warrior of Light and F'lhaminn speak about Minfilia. She requests that they join her at the Church of Saint Adama Landama, where Minfilia's father is buried. She speaks about her love for her adopted daughter, and the pair bury a precious gem that Minfilia once dug up for her, saying their final goodbyes.
