This accumulated mana can then be spent on the Red Mage's [[weaponskill]]s ([[Riposte]], [[Zwerchhau]], [[Redoublement]], and [[Moulinet]]) - if a sufficient amount (dependent on the skill) has been accumulated, the skill will convert to an 'enchanted' version that deals greater damage than the conventional version. However, if the gap between black and white mana accumulation grows too large (approx. 35-45 points), then the crystal at the top of the gauge will change color to match the 'dominant' mana type and accumulation of the non-matching type will be roughly half normal; e.g. if Black mana is dominant, casting [[Veraero]] would only grant 5 White mana.
If the gap between black and white mana accumulation grows too large, the crystal at the top of the gauge will change color, and it will become more difficult to accumulate the lesser of the two.
