Established by a botanist as an experimental farm, the homestead hosts myriad agricultural undertakings such as the selective breeding of livestock and the research of foreign produce and agriculture techniques. Post-[[The Calamity|Calamity]], the Red Rooster Stead has grown exponentially and works with the mills at Grey Fleet to create wool and grain. Located here is the entrance of the [[Limsa Lominsa]] [[Housing]] Area, the [[Mist]].
