A '''Donut AoE''' is a type of Area of Effect that covers a large area near an enemy in a telegraphed hitbox, but leaves a safe area at the inner portion of the attack. This type of AoE can have safe zones past the edge of the hitbox, but more often than not covers the entire arena. The safe zone can range anywhere from the size of the enemies' hitbox to creating a wide ring. This attack may also be used in conjunction with other markers and AoEs, requiring players to utilize the safe space correctly. To avoid taking damage from this attack, simply move into the safe area at the center of the attack. |
