Bloefhis Bloefhisyn was the leader of The League of Lost Bastards and the father of Merlwyb. He was a fearsome pirate who once went against Rycharde Mistbeard in combat, their epic battle giving the Bloodshore its name. He was also a loving father, coming to his daughter's rescue after she single-handedly attacked the Sahagin and they summoned Leviathan.
As it turns out, Bloefhis was tempered in this interaction, unbeknownst to his daughter or crew. He left the League and began consorting with the Sahagin, sailing under the name of the Serpent Reavers. Merlwyb set out to confront her father for what he had done, only to find him barely clinging to life. Realizing what had become of him, she put him to rest, taking his guns Annihilator and Death Penalty.
