The Northern Hills of Amber

In contrast to the transient sands of the Fields of Amber, the highland plateaus of northwestern Amh Araeng sit atop a stable foundation of rock. A clan of Ronso relocated here during the reign of the Ronkan Empire, leaving their mark-and their names-on the region's mine sand settlements.

— Encyclopaedia Eorzea Volume III, p. 113

The Northern Hills of Amber is an area in Amh Araeng, Norvrandt.
