To Kill a Mockingslime is a stage in The Masked Carnivale for Blue Mage, introduced in patch 4.5 with Stormblood.

Act 1

Enemies

Guimauve

Endurance: Above Average
Strengths: Slashing, Piercing, Blunt
Weaknesses: --
Vulnerabilities: Slow, Interrupt, Blind

Strategy

Periodically summons Arena Flan of different elements.
Dark: AoE attack placing persistent damage field on floor.
Golden Tongue: Buffs magic damage, can be interrupted.

Guimauve will periodically summon slimes that are weak to each of the 6 magic elements.

Focus Guimauve while cycling elemental cleaving spells with the element that each summoned flan is weak to; spells such as Flame Thrower.

However, note that all of the slimes (including Guimauve) take negligible damage from physical spells, so physical elemental spells such as Fire Angon and Mountain Buster will not be effective.

Using Aetheric Mimicry as Healer seems to be a bit easier than DPS.
