Ganen Rijin

Ganen Rijin is a powerful historical figure who rose above his station and built the kingdom of Doma. He was a wise and powerful leader, who was known for being merciful and kind. He was a master of Geomancy and worked hard to unite the peoples of Yanxia under a single banner.

At the tender age of fourteen, Ganen's father, the leader of his clan, died in battle, passing the mantle to his son. Knowing they would be vulnerable to attack now that their leader was a young child, he devised a plan; Should they be attacked by a rival clan, they should flee into the marshlands, where their armor would weigh them down in the mire. Following this, archers would rain arrows down upon them, defeating them.

As he grew older, he became a wise and merciful leader. He learned the arts of Geomancy and used his powers to defeat his foes, showing them mercy, earning their respect. He would allow any and all to join his ranks, so long as they were possessed of skill and intelligence. After twenty years, Ganen came to control the East Bank, which the clans of the West Bank saw as a threat, and engaged in military operations. The battle raged for over eight years, but the tides were turned in Ganen's favor after he employed the use of Namazu spies. Under a singular banner, the kingdom of Doma came to be.
