Additional Information
“A Blue Kojin merchant of thirty-two summers, Soroban gathered riches from the Ruby Sea to sell in Kugane's markets. His nascent soul[1] resided in an abacus before birth, giving rise to his Kojin name and the gift of a calculating mind--a quality which led him to risk saving an adventurer in need that he might forge ties with the East Aldenaard Trading Company. Once Soroban has formed a connection, however, his integrity demands that he render assistance when needed, regardless of the cost to himself. Thus his relationship with the Warrior of Light and Tataru saw him tangled in the affairs of the Four Lords, his intention to offer a profitable endeavor ending with him dragged along a grueling path towards spiritual enlightenment. It is said that amongst the Blue Kojin, Soroban harbors the greatest potential for divine mysticism.
