Seien Rijin

Seien Rijin was a young ruler who caused a long period of unrest for Doma. Even from a young age, Seien seemed destined to cause havoc. Upon becoming king, He used the funds available to him simply to indulge in his many vices, bringing the kingdom to the brink of financial ruin, to the point where he had to turn to the merchant guilds for more coin. And when they came to collect, instead of paying up, he simply increased taxes more and more.

Things would surely have turned even worse in Doma if not for Sasuke Kagekakushi, a shinobi on a mission in Doma. Hearing of the people's plight, he sought out the king's brother, a far more reasonable man, and helped stage a coup to overthrow Seien. Together, the two were able to lead a rebel army against and bring the unfit king low, and bring an end to this dark chapter in the history of Doma.
