Lodewicus the Leal

Lodewicus the Leal was the leader of a well-known band of sellswords. Following the cessation of the invasion of the Garlean Empire (estimated to be around ca 1557 of the Sixth Astral Era), the Eorzean Alliance quickly lost its common enemy and those who had made their livelihood on the battlefield soon found themselves without work.
Lodewicus came together with his companions and started an organization to give work to those who laid their lives on the line to battle against the Empire. This organization connected civilians with warriors who could be hired for various tasks, either as a guardian, slay monsters, or fight on their behalf. The organization soon grew extremely large, and the age of Adventurers began in earnest.
