“"Reveal your true self to our people, Vrtra, and guide us to salvation!"
While yet a young Auri man of twenty-two summers, Ahewann found himself thrust into the satrap's seat after the sudden passing of an older Alzadaal patriarch. The Garlean Empire had begun its rise to power, and the new satrap worked closely with Vrtra to navigate this difficult era. Ahewann's guidance was well received, and his respectful demeanor towards everyone from pauper to political envoy resulted in a strong swell of support from the Hannish people. He played the part to perfection, never begrudging his status as a dragon's mouthpiece, though Vrtra ever considered him more invaluable ally than loyal underling. When Radz-at-Han was besieged by the horrors of the Final Days, Ahewann counseled the great wyrm to drop his veil of secrecy and lead the city as its true ruler. Prescient advice, perhaps, for Ahewann was to perish in the chaos, giving his life to protect a man from a rampaging beast. Fifty years of age at the time of his death, Ahewann is to be succeeded in his duties by his nephew.
