Make way for new neighbors─apartments are here! Purchase a room and remodel it with a wide assortment of furnishings and ornaments from the carpet up to the ceiling light. Whether you're relaxing with friends in the lobby, living it up in your private abode, or tending to your chocobo in the nearby stable, you're sure to feel right at home with this newest addition to housing!

Patch 3.4 Special Site

Apartment buildings have been added to every ward and corresponding subdivision with Patch 3.4. Before purchasing an apartment, players must first attain level 50 with at least one class. Furthermore, they must have attained the rank of second lieutenant in the Maelstrom, the Order of the Twin Adder, or the Immortal Flames. Each apartment building can house up to 90 tenants, with each room costing Gil 500,000 gil. Players are allowed one apartment per character. Furthermore, it is possible to own both an estate and an apartment at the same time.

Overview

An apartment building is available in every ward in all Residential Districts, with a second apartment building available in each subdivision. There are currently a total of 21,600 apartments per server. The Interior Wall, Flooring, and Ceiling Light of apartments can be customized in the same way as estate halls. Each apartment building also contains a lobby where players can speak with a receptionist, as well as mender and Material Supplier NPCs. Players can enter apartments directly from the building entrance or via a door inside the lobby.

Purchasing an Apartment

Before purchasing an apartment, players must first attain level 50 with at least one class. Furthermore, players must have attained the rank of second lieutenant in the Maelstrom, the Order of the Twin Adder, or the Immortal Flames. Each apartment building can house up to 90 tenants, with each room costing 500,000 gil. Players are allowed one apartment per character. Furthermore, it is possible to own both an estate and an apartment.

To purchase an apartment, go to the lobby of the apartment complex with available rooms and speak to the Apartment Caretaker.

Furnishings

Players can place up to 100 furnishings in an apartment. As with free company and personal estates, players are able to use all indoor housing-specific features such as Flowerpots, The unending journey icon1.png  The Unending Journey, the Orchestrion icon1.png  Orchestrion, the Armoire icon1.png  Armoire, the Crystal bell icon1.png  Crystal Bell, Summoning bell icon1.png  Summoning Bells, and the employ of NPCs.

  • Placing a furnishing in an apartment will bind it to you, preventing future trade or sale to other players.

Additional Facilities

Each apartment building also includes a Chocobo stable icon1.png  Chocobo Stable, which is shared with all tenants. Here players can train their chocobos and change their color, and also assist in training other tenants' chocobos.

It is also possible to teleport directly to your apartment. Furthermore, a summoning bell and market board have also been placed close to the building for convenience.
