Eurekan Armor sets are level 70 upgradeable relic armor sets that were introduced with Stormblood. Released in patch 4.25, players can obtain the first set, the Anemos Armor after clearing the level 70 job quest and gaining access to The Forbidden Land, Eureka Anemos. The second Eurekan armor set, Elemental Armor, can be acquired from The Forbidden Land, Eureka Pyros and then upgraded in The Forbidden Land, Eureka Hydatos and in The Baldesion Arsenal. Unlike the Eurekan Weapons, which is one series of upgrades, the two Eurekan Armor sets are acquired individually without having to complete the other set.
There are two final sets - Anemos Armor and Elemental Armor. Anemos Armor has no use except as glamour. However, final-stage Elemental Armor is partially best-in-slot for Eureka Content due to its Elemental Bonus.
- Anemos Armor uses same model as job's level 70 Artifact Armor. The only visual difference is that the final step, Anemos Armor, is dyeable. Can be upgraded for currency from The Forbidden Land, Eureka Anemos. There are 5 upgrade steps:
- Antiquated Artifact Armor received from level 70 job quest.
- Eureka Artifact Armor bought with Protean Crystals.
- Note: "Eureka Artifact Armor" is an unofficial term. The game calls these armor without the "Antiquated" prefix, e.g., Antiquated Duelist's -> Duelist's -> Duelist's +1 and so on.
- Eureka Artifact Armor +1 can be bought with Protean Crystals.
- Eureka Artifact Armor +2 can be bought with Protean Crystals.
- The final stage, Anemos Armor can be bought with Anemos Crystals.
- Elemental Armor is a standalone armor series. Its +1 version has changed colors and has added glowing light effects. +2 version is visually the same as +1 but has an added Elemental Bonus stat. All 3 versions are dyeable.
- Elemental Armor can be bought with Pyros Crystals acquired from The Forbidden Land, Eureka Pyros.
- Elemental Armor +1 can be bought with Hydatos Crystals acquired from The Forbidden Land, Eureka Hydatos.
- Elemental Armor +2 can be bought with Eureka Fragments acquired from The Baldesion Arsenal. This armor is sometimes also called Physeos armor.
Alongside the Eurekan Armor sets, players can also obtain Eurekan Weapons.
Anemos Armor
Every job has its own armor set and there is 5 stages of the armor. The first step is to acquire Antiquated Artifact Armor by completing a level 70 Job Quest. If you have discarded your gear, it can be received again for a small Gil fee from a Calamity Salvager.
The remaining 4 steps can be completed by simply buying them from Gerolt in The Forbidden Land, Eureka Anemos for Protean Crystals and Anemos Crystals, both of which can only be obtained in The Forbidden Land, Eureka Anemos.
A full set of final Anemos armor cost a total of 3,000 Protean Crystals and 750 Anemos Crystals.

All stages use the same armor models; the only visual difference is that the final step armor, Anemos Armor, is dyeable. Anemos Armor should be acquired for glamour purposes only, as there is much stronger and easier to obtain armor for stats, for example Augmented Scaevan Armor (IL 400) bought with Allagan Tomestones of Poetics.

These can be acquired by completing the level 70 job quest for your selected job. The gear is in a coffer awarded by the quest.

Elemental Armor
Elemental Armor is completely separated from Anemos Armor, therefore these sets can be acquired individually without having to have the previous armor sets. However, you do need to acquire at least one Elemental Weapon before the vendor will appear. Unlike with the Artifact and Anemos Armor sets, there is not an exclusive armor set for each job, but role-specific sets (e.g., fending, maiming, etc.)
It consists of 3 stages: Elemental Armor (IL 380), Elemental Armor +1 (IL 390) and Elemental Armor +2 (IL 390) (sometimes also known as Physeos).
- Elemental Armor can be acquired from The Forbidden Land, Eureka Pyros. Requires 50 Logos Actions unlocked and at least one Elemental Weapon.
- Elemental Armor +1 can be acquired from The Forbidden Land, Eureka Hydatos. Requires 56 Logos Actions unlocked.
- Recolored version of Elemental Armor with added glowing light effects.
- Elemental Armor +2 can be acquired from The Baldesion Arsenal.
- Visually identical to Elemental Armor +1 and has same item level and stats. The only difference is added Elemental Bonus stat, which makes them stronger in Eureka duties only.
- The Elemental +2 chest armor is not best-in-slot in Eureka. Kirin's Osode Armor / Vermillion Cloaks are stronger than the Elemental Armor +2 chest armor in Eureka due to the extra Haste bonus and materia melds being active, while having an identical Elemental Bonus.
- The Elemental +2 head, hands, legs, and feet armor are best-in-slot for Disciples of War in Eureka. The hands, legs, and feet armor are best-in-slot for Disciples of Magic because their Vermillion Cloak chest armor occupies both the head and chest slots.

Elemental Armor (IL 380)
- See also: The Forbidden Land, Eureka Pyros

Elemental Armor +1 (IL 390)
- See also: The Forbidden Land, Eureka Hydatos
Can be bought from Expedition Artisan in The Forbidden Land, Eureka Hydatos. Chest and leg armor cost 50 Hydatos Crystals each, while head, hands and boots are for 30 Hydatos Crystals each. Players must have all 56 Logos Actions unlocked to be able to purchase these items.
This armor uses same model as basic Elemental Armor, but it is recolored with an added glowing light effect. This step may take longer, because Hydatos Crystals drop in lower quantities compared to Pyros Crystals.

Elemental Armor +2
- See also: The Baldesion Arsenal
The final upgrade to the Eureka Armor. Can be bought from Expedition Artisan in The Forbidden Land, Eureka Hydatos. Chest and leg armor cost 35 Eureka Fragments each, while head, hands and boots are for 21 Eureka Fragments each.
In the game, it is known as Elemental Armor +2, but due to its similar acquisition methods as Physeos Weapons, it is also known as the Physeos Set. Upgrading requires Eureka Fragments, which are acquired only from The Baldesion Arsenal. The armor is visually identical to Elemental Armor +1. The only difference is added Elemental Bonus stat, which makes them stronger in Eureka duties only.
- Kirin's Osode Armor remains stronger than the Elemental Armor +2 chest gear in Eureka due to the extra Haste bonus and matching the item level sync of Eureka, allowing materia melds to be active. While Elemental Armor +2 has a higher item level, it will still be synced down to IL 300, the same as Kirin's Osode Armor, while losing materia melds.
