Pre-Requisite

Before begin to create your Relic Weapon, you must:

Complete Main Scenario Quests: Heavensward
Reach level 60 for your chosen job.

An Unexpected Proposal

Starting NPC:	Rowena
Starting Location:	Idyllshire, Idyllshire (x5,y5)
Your journey begins with "An Unexpected Proposal" quest. This is a one time quest and does not need to be repeated; further weapons will start from Soul Without Life. For this quest, simply: Speak to Rowena (x5,y5) in Idyllshire. Travel to Alpha Quadrant in Azys Lla to speak with Ardashir (x7,y11).

The following 3 quests need to be completed in order, for each relic, and are job-specific. However, you can work on multiple relics at one time. An example is picking up Soul Without Life on your PLD, whilst working on Coming into Its Own for your WAR.

Soul Without Life

Starting NPC:

Ardashir

Starting Location:

Alpha Quadrant, Azys Lla (x7,y11)

Speak to Ardashir (x7,y11) in Azys Lla.
Travel to Mor Dhona to speak with Syndony (x22,y5). She will give you two options to recieve the Astral Nodule and Umbral Nodule.
1. Give up a Zeta weapon. Speak to Syndony again and she will allow you to turn one zeta weapon of any type (except PLD, where both sword and shield are required) for both the Astral Nodule and the Umbral Nodule.
  NOTE: If you are trading in your relic, make sure to finish The Vital Title quest from Jalzahn before you do. This is the quest you complete for the Home of the Brave achievement.
2. Farm fates in Heavensward zones for Crystals to turn in to her for Nodules
  NOTE: You don't need to do this on the job you're trying to get your Anima weapon on. For example you can level another job while doing this step.
  1. Collect 3 (each) Luminous Wind Crystals, Luminous Fire Crystals, Luminous Lightning Crystals and turn in to Syndony for Astral Nodule
  2. Collect 3 (each) Luminous Ice Crystals, Luminous Earth Crystals, Luminous Water Crystals and turn in to Syndony for Umbral Nodule

This stage requires you to complete 10 dungeons with your new relic. The first 6 dungeons CAN be un-synced and you only need your Animated Weapon equipped AS YOU EXIT. You MUST complete these dungeons in the order listed below. Speak to Ardashir (x7,y11) in Azys Lla. Complete Snowcloak Complete Sastasha (Hard) Complete The Sunken Temple of Qarn (Hard) Speak to Ardashir (x25,y12) in Southern Thanalan. Complete Keeper of the Lake Complete Wanderer's Palace (Hard) Complete Amdapor Keep (Hard) Speak to Ardashir (x25,y24) in South Shroud. Complete Dusk Vigil Complete Sohm Al Complete The Aery Complete The Vault Travel to Alpha Quadrant in Azys Lla to speak with Ardashir (x7,y11) with Animated Weapon in inventory (quest is job-specific so you will need another weapon for the same job equipped).
