Ninja is a melee DPS job first introduced in E3 2014. It evolves from the class Rogue. Ninja, like rogue, dual-wields 2 blade/dagger weapons and is able to become invisible with Hide. Ninjas' unique abilities are their Ninjutsu Actions. They can execute these abilities by using their Mudras (Ninja hand signs) in correct orders and combinations.

  • In the battle, the main focus of Ninja is to use its Mudras to create Ninjutsus correctly. It will not be as positionally focused as Monk.
  • The weapons of Ninja is similar to that of Monk. It appears as two weapons but will only count as 1 item.

The Primary Attribute for Ninja is Dexterity. Ninja will share pre-2.4 gear with Monk at level 50.

Ninja will be able to use the Cross Class Actions of both Pugilist and Lancer.

Ten 30 Make the ritual mudra hand gesture for "heaven." Duration: 5s
Shares a recast timer with the mudras Chi and Jin.
Ninjutsu 30 Executes a specific ninjutsu action coinciding with the combination of mudras made immediately beforehand.
If any other ability, spell, or weaponskill is used before the mudras are combined and the ninjutsu executed, the action will fail.
The recast timer will begin cooldown upon ninjutsu execution, or when a mudra timer runs out.
Shares a recast timer with the mudras Ten, Chi, and Jin.
Chi 35 Make the ritual mudra hand gesture for "earth." Duration: 5s
Shares a recast timer with the mudras Ten and Jin.
Shukuchi 40 Move quickly to the specified location.
Cannot use when bound.
Jin 45 Make the ritual mudra hand gesture for "man." Duration: 5s
Shares a recast timer with the mudras Ten and Chi.
Kassatsu 50 Resets the ninjutsu recast timer while ensuring critical damage for the next ninjutsu action. Duration: 15s

Ninjutsu Actions

The Ninjutsu action can perform one of several specific actions based on the combination of mudras made immediately beforehand. These individual actions can only be executed by using Ninjutsu, and cannot be assigned to the hotbar, nor activated from the Actions & Traits interface. The level is based of when you can first use the Ninjutsu.

Katon 35 Delivers fire damage with a potency of 180 to target and all enemies near it. Chi→Ten or Jin→Ten
Raiton 35 Delivers lightning damage with a potency of 360. Ten→Chi or Jin→Chi
Hyoton 45 Delivers ice damage with a potency of 140.
Additional Effect: Bind Duration: 15s (PvP 12s)
Ten→Jin or Chi→Jin
Huton 45 Increases attack speed by 15%. Duration: 70s Jin→Chi→Ten or Chi→Jin→Ten
Doton 45 Creates a patch of corrupted earth, dealing damage with a potency of 30 to any enemies who enter.
Duration: 24s
Additional Effect: Heavy (while upon corrupted earth)
Ten→Jin→Chi or Jin→Ten→Chi
Suiton 45 Delivers water damage with a potency of 180.
Additional Effect: Grants the caster Suiton Duration: 10s
