General Information

Dragoon is a polearm-wielding job that specializes in lances, leaps, and a piercing style of combat. They evolve from the class lancer. It is a melee damage dealing class specializing in single target dps. Dragoons have all the abilities and traits of Lancers. The most important stat for the dragoon is strength, which increases attack power. The level of your Dragoon is equivalent to that of your Lancer.

Dragon Gauge is Dragoon's Job Gauge.

Dragon Gauge

Upon learning the action Geirskogul at Lv. 60, you will be able to view the Dragon Gauge. This timer indicates the duration of Blood of the Dragon, which increases damage dealt by 10%. Using Geirskogul grants Blood of the Dragon.

Upon learning the trait Life of the Dragon at Lv. 70, this timer will now indicate the duration of Life of the Dragon, which increases damage dealt by 15%. Using Geirskogul will instead grant Life of the Dragon, and allows for the execution of more powerful actions such as Nastrond and Stardiver (acquired at level 80).

Available after learning Lance Mastery III at Lv. 90, using Raiden Thrust or Draconian Fury will sharpen the Firstmind's Focus, up to a maximum of 2 units. Once their focus is fully sharpened, you can execute Wyrmwind Thrust.
