Momodi Modi

Template:NPC Infobox Momodi Modi is the owner and proprietor of The Quicksand, the Adventurer's Guild of Ul'dah. She welcomes new Adventurers into the city-state at the beginning of the game should they choose Gladiator, Pugilist or Thaumaturge as their starting class and registers them with the Guild so that they may provide services in Thanalan.

The hairpin she wears was crafted by Momoroto, a friend who gave up his career as a Goldsmith to become a humble Fisher in Crescent Cove after he burnt out from the pressure of the demands placed upon him - Momodi's encouragement only furthering his stress. Since the Calamity, she chooses to wear the hairpin as both a symbol of her desire to stand and fight with those who would follow their dreams and a warning of the dangers of encouraging others to follow dreams that they do not wish to follow.

Mistress Momodi is well-known to most citizens of Ul'dah and adventurers who visit the city-state. She is a close friend of Kikipu Kipu of the Silver Bazaar. Her affections are sought after by a midlander named Thomas in the quest Dream On.
